Managing Director

Shinthia Jayapalan, ACA (ICAEW), C.A.(M)

Shinthia founded Elevatte Advisory Services after over a decade in the Big Four firms. Her experience with large organisations across financial audit, finance function advisory and governance improvement shaped her belief that reliable accounting and sound financial management are key drivers of business performance — inspiring her to help SMEs build the right foundations.

She began her career at EY Malaysia before joining PwC Malaysia to specialise in finance function improvement, policy development and adoption of new accounting standards for multinational and local clients. Her experience with listed companies and the banking sector further strengthened her capabilities in financial reporting, internal controls and Bursa Malaysia compliance. Her combined external advisory and in-house experience gives her a 360° view of finance operations – strengthening the strategic insight she brings to her work.

With 12 years of experience, Shinthia is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). She is committed to helping SMEs build structured and insight-driven finance functions.
